Your mission
Your tasks
- Ensuring the stable operation of our Kubernetes SaaS platform with hundreds of active clusters, including incident mitigation
- Translating complex system architectures into code (30 to 40%) with a software development component in Go, Terraform, Ansible, and Bash
- Developing and automating infrastructure components, from server provisioning to K8s operators
- Optimizing and operationally supporting the observability platform for the managed service infrastructure (Prometheus, Loki, Mimir)
- Performing release management, continuously improving CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), and troubleshooting in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Participating in on-call duty after a successful probationary period
Requirements
- Solid practical experience in operating, troubleshooting, and scaling highly available Kubernetes clusters in production environments
- In-depth knowledge of Linux system administration and a solid understanding of network layer 3/4 (Routing, NAT) and layer 7 protocols
- Practical development experience in system languages like Go and confident use of common automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
- Experience in building and operating observability stacks (Prometheus, Loki, Mimir) and handling common CI/CD practices
- Understanding of internal Kubernetes mechanisms (etcd, apiserver, kubelet)
- German and English skills at a B2 level
